Privacy policy

This page explains how we handle personal data, under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, in Spanish RGPD) and the Spanish data protection law (Ley Orgánica 3/2018).

What data we use and why

This website has no contact forms and no user accounts. We only receive personal data when you contact us yourself:

• On WhatsApp: your name and phone number as WhatsApp shows them, and what you write or send, such as photos of the garden or the message from the budget calculator.
• By email: your email address and what you write.

We use this data only to answer your enquiry, to visit your garden, to prepare a quote and, if you hire us, to do the job and invoice it.

The budget calculator works in your browser. Your answers are not sent to us or stored anywhere until you decide to send the WhatsApp message yourself.

Legal basis

We use your data because you ask us for information or a quote, which are steps taken at your request before a contract (article 6.1.b GDPR). If you hire us, we use it to carry out the contract and to meet our legal duties, such as keeping invoices (article 6.1.c GDPR).

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries as long as we need them to answer you and prepare a quote. If no job follows, we delete them within 12 months. If you hire us, we keep the data needed for invoices for as long as tax law requires.

Who receives it

• WhatsApp: when you write to us on WhatsApp, your messages go through WhatsApp, a service of WhatsApp Ireland Limited (Meta), under its own privacy policy.
• Hosting: this website runs on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web server, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver the pages.
• Email: our email provider stores the emails you send us.

We do not sell your data and we do not pass it to anyone else, unless the law requires it.

Cookies

This website uses no cookies. We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which works without cookies and does not store anything on your device.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete your data, to limit or object to its use, or to receive it in a common format. Write to alejandro@fincaolivera.es. If you think we have not handled your data properly, you can complain to the Spanish data protection authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (www.aepd.es).
